BTEC Success for 2070 - January 2007

Two of the squadrons most senior cadets have recently been presented with a BTEC 1st Diploma in Public Services.

The award which has taken several years to complete is equivalent to 4 GCSE’s and effectively recognises the Cadets time, effort and awards over the time spent in the Corps. The certificates were presented to Cadet Warrant Officer James Brewster and Flight Sergeant Ravi Vegad by Group Captain Jon Ford, Regional Commandant and Lieutenant Colonel Edward Woods of the Cadets Vocational Qualifications Organisation. BTEC’s are now forming part of all cadets training and every cadet will receive at least 2 following satisfactory attendance on certain courses and after gaining certain qualifications.
