The whole of 2070 Glenfield squadron and its associates embarked on their annual christmas camp to Champion House, Edale, Derbyshire.
 
Arriving on Friday 8th the cadets attended various briefs. From the briefs they were granted free time until lights out at 2300hrs.
On the saturday the cadets enjoyed the following activities: rock climbing, navigational lectures, route planning, a christmas dinner, a gangshow with the battle of the bands, buffet and a small 'social'.
By Sunday the cadets were tired but began an arduous bog hopping trek across the peak district. The weather had deteriorated considerably so a shorter safer route had been chosen, with time racing by unoticed, the cadets were due back at the centre, increasing the pressure on local trains and buses the cadets made good time, cleaned the centre, hade a debrief and departed by 1700hrs.
