 Top Officer inspecting best squadrons in the UK
At the end of April the Regional Commandant, Gp Cpt Ford, came to Glenfield to see how our squadron measures up in the competition to be the best ATC Squadron in the UK.
During the night, cadets showed off the skills they had been learning by putting on a packed night of activities in preparation for Wing Field Day in June this year. The activities included: A parade and review of the cadets by the Gp Capt, Drill Practice, Air Rifle Shooting, remote controlled aircraft building, aircraft modelling, leadership exercises, and the project to build the squadron website.
Before the Gp Cpt left, he told the Squadron that they had done extremely well to get as far as we have in the competition and whatever the outcome, we should still be proud to be part of a very good Squadron!
